Colleagues from several U.S. media organizations, including CNN, have made a serious accusation against the Donald Trump administration, stating that its actions are violating the First Amendment to the Constitution. The dispute escalated after several journalists from media organizations accredited to the White House lost their credentials.
Three U.S. news organizations — CNN, MS NOW and Politico — filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump and members of his administration after their journalists were barred from the White House.
The lawsuit was filed on Monday, September 21, in a federal court in Washington.

Kollegen mehrerer US-amerikanischer Medien, darunter CNN, haben der Regierung von Donald Trump einen schwerwiegenden Vorwurf gemacht und erklärt, deren Vorgehen verletze den Ersten Verfassungszusatz. Der Streit verschärfte sich, nachdem mehrere Journalisten von Medien, die beim Weißen Haus akkreditiert sind, ihre Akkreditierungen verloren hatten.
Drei US-amerikanische Medienorganisationen — CNN, MS NOW und Politico — haben Präsident Donald Trump und Mitglieder seiner Regierung verklagt, nachdem ihren Journalisten der Zugang zum Weißen Haus verweigert worden war.
Die Klage wurde am Montag, dem 21. September, bei einem Bundesgericht in Washington eingereicht.
Die von den Anwälten der Parteien vorgebrachten Argumente besagen, dass die Entscheidung der Regierung die verfassungsrechtlichen Garantien der Meinungs- und Pressefreiheit verletzt.
