Humanitarian crisis in Ceuta.

 

Hay unos 1.000 chicos menores de edad, de ambos sexos, que duermen en las calles, en los refugios y donde fuere, sin ningún tipo de control ni ayuda.

Around 1,000 minors, both boys and girls, are sleeping in the streets, in shelters and wherever they can find a place, without adequate supervision or assistance.

The situation in Ceuta shows no sign of easing, and Spain is acknowledging that there are more migrants than previously reported. As of today, official sources say that more than 10,000 people are on the streets of Ceuta after arriving from Morocco at the end of July. Little by little, the situation is deteriorating, and we can state that we are at the beginning of a humanitarian crisis.

Around 1,000 minors, both boys and girls, are sleeping in the streets, in shelters and wherever they can find a place, without adequate supervision or assistance.

It should not be forgotten that, because of their age and level of maturity, these young people require specific protection, healthcare, safe accommodation and specialized support.

Many underage girls have reported mistreatment, insults, threats and a lack of medical care in centers intended for unaccompanied minors.

La invasión a Ceuta no da respiro y España acepta que hay más migrantes de los que había informado. Al día de hoy, fuentes oficiales afirman que hay más de 10 mil personas en las calles de Ceuta, que llegaron desde Marruecos a fines de julio. Poco a poco la situación se está degradando y podemos afirmar que estamos al inicio de una crisis humanitaria.

Hay unos 1.000 chicos menores de edad, de ambos sexos, que duermen en las calles, en los refugios y donde fuere, sin ningún tipo de control ni ayuda.

No olvidemos que son personas que, debido a su edad y su madurez, necesitan protección específica, atención sanitaria, alojamiento seguro y acompañamiento especializado.

Muchas chicas menores de edad denuncian malos tratos, insultos, amenazas y falta de atención sanitaria en centros destinados a menores no acompañados.

Die Lage in Ceuta lässt nicht nach, und Spanien räumt ein, dass sich dort mehr Migranten aufhalten als bislang angegeben. Nach offiziellen Angaben befinden sich derzeit mehr als 10.000 Menschen auf den Straßen von Ceuta. Sie waren Ende Juli aus Marokko gekommen. Die Situation verschlechtert sich allmählich, und wir können feststellen, dass wir am Beginn einer humanitären Krise stehen.

Rund 1.000 Minderjährige, Jungen und Mädchen, schlafen auf der Straße, in Notunterkünften oder an anderen Orten, ohne ausreichende Betreuung oder Unterstützung.

Wir dürfen nicht vergessen, dass diese jungen Menschen aufgrund ihres Alters und ihres Entwicklungsstandes besonderen Schutz, medizinische Versorgung, eine sichere Unterkunft und fachkundige Betreuung benötigen.

Viele minderjährige Mädchen berichten über Misshandlungen, Beleidigungen, Drohungen und mangelnde medizinische Versorgung in Einrichtungen für unbegleitete Minderjährige.
