Ceuta tiene miedo. Sus poco más de 80 mil habitantes saben que es cuestión de tiempo para que los 8.000 inmigrantes indocumentados que llegaron en la última invasión comiencen a provocar desmanes y delitos que afecten a la población ceutí.

Son muchas las madres que han dicho al Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH que ni locas llevarán a sus hijos a clases el próximo dos de septiembre. Sin seguridad en las calles; ¿qué puede esperarse en un salón de clases?

Mientras tanto, hubo en las últimas horas dos situaciones de extrema tensión; por un lado, la playa de El Trampolín tuvo graves incidentes cuando comenzó el reparto de comida y mantas de la Cruz Roja y, por el otro, la marcha que se ha hecho en el centro de Ceuta para exigir la expulsión de los inmigrantes que llegaron de Marruecos terminó con la Guardia Civil disparando al aire para alejar a un tumulto de personas que avanzaban sobre un grupo de los extranjeros recién llegados.

Cargas de antidisturbios en una playa pública, tiros al aire de la Policía, madres que no enviarán a sus niños a la escuela. Ceuta duerme con un ojo abierto porque tiene miedo.

Many mothers have told the JMH International Consortium of Journalists that they would not dream of sending their children to school on September 2. Without security in the streets, what can be expected inside a classroom?

Meanwhile, there have been two situations of extreme tension in recent hours. On the one hand, serious incidents occurred at El Trampolín beach when the distribution of food and blankets by the Red Cross began. On the other, a march held in central Ceuta demanding the expulsion of the migrants who arrived from Morocco ended with the Civil Guard firing shots into the air to disperse a crowd that was moving toward a group of newly arrived foreigners.

セウタでは不安が広がっている。人口8万人余りの住民たちは、今回の流入で到着した8,000人の身分証明書を持たない移民が、セウタ市民に影響を及ぼす騒乱や犯罪を引き起こし始めるのは時間の問題だと考えている。

多くの母親がJMH国際ジャーナリスト連盟に対し、9月2日の新学期開始に際して、子どもたちを学校へ行かせるつもりはないと話している。街の安全が確保されていない状況で、教室の中に何を期待できるのか、という懸念が広がっている。

一方、ここ数時間、極度の緊張を伴う2つの事態が発生した。一つはエル・トランポリン海岸で、赤十字による食料や毛布の配布が始まった際に深刻な混乱が発生したこと。もう一つは、モロッコから到着した移民の退去を求めてセウタ中心部で行われたデモで、到着したばかりの外国人の集団に向かって進んでいた群衆を遠ざけるため、治安警察が空に向けて発砲する事態となったことだ。

公共の海岸での暴動鎮圧部隊による対応、警察による威嚇射撃、そして子どもたちを学校へ行かせないと話す母親たち。セウタは恐怖から、片目を開けたまま眠っている。
