Tragedia en Michigan. Un hombre mató a su mujer y a sus 6 hijos y se suicidó.

Kristopher Karolkiewicz mató a su esposa, Amanda “Mandy” Karolkiewicz, de 39 años, y a sus seis hijos el 24 de julio en su domicilio de Grand Haven Township, Michigan, según informaron las autoridades. Posteriormente, se produjo un incendio en la vivienda y Karolkiewicz murió por suicidio.

Publicaciones realizadas previamente por Mandy Karolkiewicz en redes sociales describían una relación marcada, según su propio relato, por conflictos de pareja y episodios de infidelidad. En una de ellas afirmó que su esposo, diez años mayor que ella, había vuelto a mantener una relación con una pasante de una edad similar a la que ella tenía cuando también era pasante.

En otra publicación, Mandy relató el deterioro de su autoestima durante el matrimonio y explicó que había permanecido junto a su esposo principalmente por sus hijos. Escribió que, pese a sus conflictos con él, consideraba que el bienestar de sus hijos estaba por encima de sus propios sentimientos.

Social media posts previously published by Mandy Karolkiewicz described a marriage that, according to her own account, was marked by relationship problems and repeated infidelity. In one post, she said her husband, who was 10 years older than her, had again become involved with an intern who was around the same age Mandy had been when she was an intern.

In another post, Mandy described a prolonged decline in her self-esteem during the marriage and said she had remained with her husband primarily because of their children. She wrote that, despite her conflicts with him, she placed her children’s well-being above her own feelings.
