Burdeos está en pánico por la cercanía de apenas 15 kilómetros, del incendio que está arrasando el suroeste de Francia.

42,000 hectáreas han quedado destruidas por las llamas y 220.000 personas fueron evacuadas, según confirmaron las autoridades al Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH.
La Prefectura de la Gironda indicó que durante la noche no se registraron cambios significativos en el comportamiento del fuego, mientras los equipos de emergencia permanecen desplegados para contener el avance de las llamas.

Macron lidera la respuesta
El presidente de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, encabezará este lunes una célula de crisis para evaluar la evolución de los incendios, un tema que también será analizado durante la reunión del Consejo de Ministros.
El alcalde de Lège-Cap Ferret, Philippe de Gonneville, aseguró que el incendio ha dado un breve respiro, aunque advirtió que las próximas horas serán decisivas ante el riesgo de una reactivación del fuego.
Durante el fin de semana, el frente oriental de las llamas llegó a situarse a unos 15 kilómetros de Burdeos. No obstante, las autoridades descartaron por ahora una evacuación de la ciudad, aunque sí se mantienen desalojos en localidades cercanas.

The Gironde Prefecture reported no significant changes in fire behavior overnight, while emergency teams remain deployed to contain the advancing flames.

Macron leads the response
French President Emmanuel Macron will head a crisis task force this Monday to assess the situation regarding the fires—a topic that will also be analyzed during the Council of Ministers meeting.
Philippe de Gonneville, the mayor of Lège-Cap Ferret, stated that the fire has offered a brief respite, though he warned that the coming hours will be critical given the risk of the fire flaring up again.
Over the weekend, the eastern front of the blaze came within approximately 15 kilometers of Bordeaux. However, authorities have ruled out evacuating the city for the time being, although evacuations remain in effect for nearby towns.
