The rise in crude prices and heightened tension surrounding the Strait of Hormuz could once again boost local oil and gas companies, although they also add a degree of volatility to the market,” noted Portfolio Personal de Inversiones (PPI). Today, the price of Brent crude is climbing 9.3%, trading at $83.14 per barrel.
