シアトル、7月27日 — JMH国際ジャーナリスト・コンソーシアム — シアトルで開催された食の祭典「Bite of Seattle」で銃撃事件が発生し、3人が死亡、4人が重傷を負った。会場には数千人が訪れており、銃声を受けて現場は一時騒然となった。

Police believe two people exchanged gunfire. One suspect was arrested about three hours after the shooting, Mayor Katie Wilson said.
The suspect was taken to Seattle Police Headquarters for questioning. The second suspect remains at large, Seattle Police Deputy Chief Tyrone Davis said.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos and confusion after gunshots rang out, as attendees scrambled to reach safety.
